Modi: from Tea Man to favorite TIMES Man

Narendra Modi is India’s current Prime Minister. He was born to a backward-class grocer family on 17th Sept.1950.
In his teenage he was studying, attending RSS sessions as well as selling tea with his brother. During this time, he was engaged to Jashodaben Chimanlal and later married her at the age of 18. The couple spent little together and after sometime Modi decided to denounce his married life and went to the Ramakrishan Mission. He even remained in Himalayas for some time.
Modi didn’t find solace there and thus returned back and joined Lakshman Rao Inamdar at the RSS headquarters in the Gujrat.

At the age of 20, Narendra made up his mind to propagate for BJP. When Modi reached at 35 then the RSS asked Modi to join the BJP.

After three years, Modi was elected as organizing secretary of Gujarat’s BJP unit. When Modi reached the age of 41, he was elected as Gujrat State Chief Minister. During his first tenure from 2001- 2002, his image was depicted as Anti Muslim. USA denied the Visa of Modi in the pretext he had the major role in Gujrat riots. Later he tried to change his image from the Pro Hindu to the man of vision for economic development in Gujarat. After that, he was re-elected three times.
