Asthma can be cured by swallowing live fish

Asthma can be cured by swallowing live Bathini Fish. Though it seems quite surprising but it is true.
The practice of giving live Bathini Fish was started In 1845 by Veeranna Goud. He was staying in Hyderabad, one of the most prominent states of India. Veeranna was a kind hearted person, he always engaged himself in charity work.

Once he met one holy man who had given him the secret formula to cure Asthma. The holy man instructed him that he would cure people free of cost. Holy man, further instructed him that he would not reveal that formula to anyone except his family members. Since that day, Veeranna started curing patients of Asthma by giving Bathini fish that had consumed the Mystical herbal medicine that holy man gave to Veeranna.

Later Veeranna’s family continued that practice, even after 170 years. Each year there are more than ten thousand people visit Hyderabad to cure their asthma. Method of taking medicine:     
   
The mystical herbal medicine is mixed with the well water and then it pushed into the mouth of a live Bathini fish which is around 5-8cm long. The Bathini fish with medicine is then put into the mouth of the patient. The fish is slippery thus it can wiggle its way down the throat of the patient. As fish moves, its fins and tails helps to clear the phlegm. After this, the three extra doses of the mystical herbal mix are given to the patient to be taken at home after initial treatment.

Thereafter, the patient is advised to follow the strict diet for the next 45 days. The patient could only take restrict diet such as rice, spinach, figs, mutton and biscuits.
